The Piano Box buggy became a popular buggy by the beginning of the 20th century. Also known today as the Doctors Buggy the Piano Box buggy was named that because the main body (also called a box) resembled a piano box. It was an affordable means of transportation with prices starting in the mid twenty dollar range. Our prices today of course are considerably higher. Price $3700.00 Standard features include;

This cart is called a Phaeton Body Road Cart because the body is very similar to the Drop Front Ladies Phaeton. We designed this cart after a Road Cart which was built in 1903. Price $4800.00 Standard features include;

We designed this cart to meet the needs of drivers who need a more versatile vehicle for competition driving as well as dressage and pleasure driving. This cart is similar to a Meadowbrook Cart but also has features of a Kentucky Breaking Cart. The Wood River Cart has a rear entry with a full step in the floor which reduces the lift at the shaft tips while entering. The shaft tips are turned out to allow the horse to have more freedom in the turns, because of this we were able to shorten the shafts slightly. The shaft loops on the harness are set at the bend in the shafts which is closer to the tips then on a straight tipped shaft. This cart is made of Ash with Hickory wheels. The Portland Cutter is a very comfortable sleigh to ride in and is a very stylish sleigh as well. Many of the wooden parts of this sleigh are also steam bent. Price $3550.00 Standard Features Include

The Piano box Cutter is our least expensive sleigh. Because of the box body style and the fiberglass seat it takes less time to build. These sleighs were used by doctors, stores and shops for deliveries and by private families. Except for the dash board the body is the same as on a Piano Box Buggy. The Surrey is a very comfortable riding family oriented vehicle. They comfortably seat four adults. Standard features include;

Mountain Wagons were used for short line stagecoaches, depot stages to carry passengers and baggage to and from the railroad depots and by private families because they were so versatile. The rear seat or seats are removable for carrying supplies or luggage. Standard Features Include

Bench These seat benches are hand crafted and are the same as the wooden seats we use on our Mountain Wagons and Yellowstone Wagons. The legs are made of heavy wagon wheel spokes, the seat bottoms are made of white oak with poplar inserts and the seat panels are made of poplar. They are available unfinished (shown), stained or painted, with or without pin stripping. These seats are made to order only.

We will not offer for sale any vehicle that we would not be proud to drive ourselves and that we feel would be unsafe to drive.
